Yucatan Peninsula

Barcelona is a city with a thousand faces. It’s at the crossroad of a contemporary metropolis, a harbor city and a historic old town. The independent Catalonian spirit, the proximity to France and the melting pot makes this city a cultural hybrid with a unique flavor and atmosphere. The variety of sites and attractions to visit is astounding!

Incredible and gorgeous architectures by Antoni Gaudi scattered around the city, beautiful parks, stunning gothic cathedrals, many art galleries and museums, not to mention the pleasure of just walking around through many of its wonderful neighborhoods: the alternative Barrio Gotico, the bohemian El Born, Barceloneta by the sea, the modernist Villa Olimpica, the chic and elegant Gracia and the more local and metropolitan Parallel, just to name a few. Barcelona carries the reputation of party city. Indeed Catalans love to party and it’s very common to see people in the streets having a good time until late seven days a week. Fun-wise the city doesn’t disappoint: a broad choice of bars, restaurants, clubs and theaters will be deployed before your eyes the second you’ll hit the city center. And the “movida” is so contagious you won’t be able to resist and go to bed early! There is something for every taste, age, hour and pocket!

The morphology of the city is as various as its people: from the top of Montjuic you’ll be able to admire a breathtaking view of the city while in Barceloneta you’ll enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. The fast and clean transportation system, together with the super cheap cabs, will allow you to do and see many things in one day.

The Catalan capital is a gem that will amuse you in many ways and you can be sure you’ll bring home its typical atmosphere of fiesta!
